Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with 30-40 patients per day.
  • Perform gynecological procedures, with a three-provider group conducting approximately 460 yearly.
  • Collaborate with another OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner in a collegial environment.
  • Manage a dedicated surgery day and maintain an established patient panel.
  • Utilize on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy services.
  • Participate in hospital call, primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday, 7 days/month).
  • Keep comprehensive documentation through paper charting in the clinic while utilizing EMR in the hospital.
Qualifications:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN.
  • Michigan Medical License (or in the process of obtaining one).
  • Current BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of being active).
  • DEA and CSR/CDS certifications (must be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
  • MI License (or in process) - REQUIRED
  • BLS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
  • DEA (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
  • CSR/CDS (must be obtained prior to start) - REQUIRED
