Job Title: Inpatient Psychiatrist - Georgetown, DE
Join a leading healthcare facility in historic Georgetown, Delaware, where SUN Behavioral Health offers a supportive and innovative environment for mental health care. We re looking for an Inpatient Psychiatrist to deliver comprehensive care during daytime hours, with no weekend or call obligations.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide on-site psychiatric care to patients in an inpatient setting.
- Work Monday through Friday during regular daytime hours.
- Manage an average daily caseload of 18 patients, treating various psychiatric disorders, including anxiety, affective, ADD/ADHD, and personality disorders.
- Utilize Wellsky as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Collaborate with a team of 2 psychiatrists and 3 advanced practice providers.
- Engage with involuntary commitments and pharmacotherapy.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Psychiatry (within 0-5 years of residency).
- Delaware medical license (or willingness to obtain).
- Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days of application).
- DEA and CSR/CDS required prior to starting.
- BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- Board Certification in Psychiatry - REQUIRED
- Active Delaware License or willingness to obtain - REQUIRED
- DEA certification - REQUIRED
- CSR/CDS certification - REQUIRED
- BLS certification - REQUIRED
