Position OverviewA full-time opportunity is available for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurosurgeon to join an established Neurosciences Clinic at a 420-bed regional referral hospital and Level II trauma center. This role offers a balanced mix of cranial and spine cases with shared call and strong multidisciplinary support.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a full scope of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures
Provide trauma and emergency neurosurgical coverage
Participate in a 1:3 shared call rotation
Collaborate with neurologists, neuroendovascular specialists, and neurohospitalists
Manage inpatient consults and follow patients through postoperative care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary conferences
Single-hospital coverage with no travel required
On-campus clinic with direct access to the hospital, ED, and ORs
Advanced technology including O-arm imaging and neurointerventional lab
Dedicated Neuro ICU and 24/7 subspecialty support
APP support for inpatient rounding and consults
Teaching opportunities with residents available
Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurosurgery
Eligible for or able to obtain an Alabama medical license
Ability to manage both cranial and spine cases
