Join Our Renowned Oncology Team in Coos Bay, Oregon!

Join our esteemed team in the serene community of Coos Bay, Oregon, where exceptional work-life balance meets coastal charm. We are seeking two full-time or part-time Medical Oncologists and/or Hematologists to join our renowned cancer center, serving as the primary hub for top-tier cancer care across the southern coast of Oregon.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accepting part-time (48 hours per pay period) and full-time (80 hours per pay period) candidates.
  • BE (within 2 years) / BC in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
  • Experience in Radiation Oncology preferred or an excellent recent graduate.
  • Manage a patient demographic of roughly 20% Hematology, 80% Oncology.
  • Handle an average of 10-15 patients per day in an outpatient setting.
  • Work at a beautiful, free-standing cancer center with no inpatient consults.
  • Utilize cutting-edge facilities including a new 19-chair infusion room and onsite mixing pharmacy.
  • Participate in a collaborative environment with an outstanding nurse infusion team.
  • Engage in leading-edge clinical trials and benefit from our affiliation with Oregon Health & Sciences University.
  • A full scope of services including cardiology, radiology, and more, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • Enjoy work-life balance with 8-hour days and a call schedule of 1:4.
Qualifications:
  • Truly Board Eligible (within 2 years) or Board Certified in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology.
  • Oregon state license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience practicing Radiation Oncology.
  • BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Clean malpractice history/background.
  • Must have ties to Oregon (family in the area or previously lived in OR).
  • Open to full-time and part-time employment opportunities.
  • Submission of recent NPDB self-query report required.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Oregon Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
  • BLS Certification (must be obtained prior to start).
  • DEA Registration (must be obtained prior to start).
  • Clean malpractice history.
  • Submission of the NPDB self-query report.
