Expected hours: 38.75/23.25/week and 8/23.25/week
Shift: 10:00pm-6:15am

St. John's Lutheran Community is hiring for a temporary overnight shift, full-time and part-time C.N.A to work in our skilled care, The Woodlands. We offer a $2.50 overnight differential, $1 weekend differential, and time and a half on holidays worked.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Certified Nursing Assistant provides each resident with routine daily nursing care in accordance with the resident’s assessments, choices, and care plan under the supervision of a licensed nurse to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. This is done by adhering to SJLC mission statement assuring the resident’s physical, emotional, and social needs are met with dignity.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Must currently be certified and on the MN Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Must have effective communications skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills, including customer service, patience, empathy and compassion
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The C.N.A assists residents with ADL’s (activities of daily living) this includes, but is not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, transferring, toileting, walking/exercising, and socializing. This is all done in a manner that is directed from the resident and multidisciplinary team, knowing that each resident has their own unique needs and wants. Understanding that this is the Resident’s Home.
