Outdoor Supply Hardware Princeton - Part-Time Cashier Join to apply for the Outdoor Supply Hardware Princeton - Part-Time Cashier role at Central Network Retail Group, LLC (CNRG) Summary A Cashier associate must provide excellent customer service by greeting customers as they enter the store and processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning merchandise, handling sales, refunds, and exchanges, and using the register to close transactions. The role also involves training, maintenance, stocking, and other tasks as assigned. As often the first and last person a customer interacts with, the Cashier should create a friendly environment and thank customers as they leave. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow CNRG’s Mission and Values Process customer transactions accurately and promptly Greet customers entering and leaving the store Verify merchandise details for transactions Handle returns, exchanges, and sales Answer phone calls courteously Assist with commercial accounts and credit applications Manage paperwork such as rain checks and due tickets Prepare deposits and organize the cash drawer Use verification systems per company policy Ensure proper handling of daily reports and documentation Assist customers in finding items and call for help when needed Protect company assets through cash controls Maintain a positive customer service attitude Follow all cashier procedures Accurately differentiate similar products Keep the store clean Perform other tasks as assigned Qualifications for Success Must demonstrate CNRG’s Mission and Values, have good communication skills, and be customer and team-oriented. Ability to manage multiple tasks, work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays, and lift up to 50 lbs. is required. Product knowledge and organizational skills are essential.
