Job Description Job Description Position Summary To assemble finished product using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners according to customer specification, drawings, and company policies To perform spot welding using resistance welders/machines Essential Functions Use hands and power tools Sets up and operated machines such as drill press, grinders, riveters Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer specifications / blueprints Checks assembled products, comparing each to customer requirements, blueprints and BOM and Router instructions Cleans and prepares surfaces to be spot welded, sets up spot welding machine Spot weld materials using adhesives and templates Resolves assembly problems and reports other problems to Supervisor for assistance Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies Support production schedule by safely performing work efficiently Job qualifications Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent degree in a related area 5-7 years of experience in the field or in related area Experience in intricate hand assembly Attention to detail Ability to read blueprints Company Description DESAPRO is an international leading company in the design and manufacturing of aluminum cases for the aerospace, defense and medical industries.
