Job Summary
Wellness Solutions, a WorkCare Company, is recruiting experienced Wellness Coaches to conduct onsite screening and wellness coaching events for first‑responder clients across California. The role requires full‑day onsite presence during scheduled events, flexible weekday availability, and frequent travel throughout the state, primarily between September and June. November 10, 11, 12 – Morgan Hill, CA November 13, 14 – Patterson, CA Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administer on‑site fitness screenings (blood pressure, body fat via BIA, FMS, and other ACSM‑guided assessments). Conduct virtual wellness consultations and follow‑ups covering cardiovascular markers, nutrition, injury prevention, stress management, and general health education; provide additional services to medium‑to‑high risk individuals. Enter data to track program participation on the wellness platform. Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Nutrition, or related field. Minimum 3 years experience in wellness and fitness testing, preferably with first responders. Certifications
FMS Level 1 or higher (or willingness to obtain within specified timeframe). ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist or equivalent (preferred). CPR, ACSM, NSCA, CES, or similar fitness certifications (required). Other Requirements
FMS functional movement screening experience is mandatory. Willingness to travel up to 50 % of the time across California. Reliable transportation and ability to work independently. Skills and Competencies
Strong background in injury prevention and health/fitness knowledge. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Self‑starter with ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality. Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision‑making abilities. Ability to gather data, compile information, prepare reports, and create/edit written materials. Computer Skills
Proficient in Windows OS, Adobe Professional, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Physical Demands
Sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, and crouching for extended periods. Lifting and moving up to 20 pounds; climbing stairs. Manual dexterity required for computer use. Travel and working under stress required. Work Environment
Mainly indoor office environment; moderate noise level. Virtual consultation workspace must be free from background noise, meet IT, privacy, and safety requirements. Compensation
Hourly pay range: $30 – $35 per hour; final compensation based on experience and qualifications. Legal Statements
