Life Insurance Specialist - Brentwood, TN Overview Join AAA‑The Auto Club Group as a Life Insurance Specialist in Brentwood, TN. You will work full‑time (hourly, with overtime eligibility) and be responsible for selling life, health, and annuity products while supporting a membership base of more than 14 million people.

Job Details Full‑time, hourly (non‑exempt). Eligible for overtime according to state regulations.

Compensation

Sign‑On Bonus:

$2,500 (split: $1,000 after 30 days of employment and $1,500 after 90 days)

Base Pay:

$25,000 per year (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime)

Unlimited income potential with tiered commissions in the first 12 months.

Responsibilities

Solicit and sell life, health, annuity, membership, and financial services products primarily in assigned branch locations.

Demonstrate thorough knowledge of product features and marketing techniques to achieve sales goals.

Develop leads and prospects through outbound/inbound calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website, seminars, etc.

Prepare proposals and close sales of various insurance products.

Complete applications, forms, and internal processing to ensure compliance with company policies.

Collaborate with branch staff to reach business goals and maximize sales opportunities.

Assist underwriting and brokerage departments to satisfy requirements.

Respond to customer inquiries and ensure sound sales practices.

Maintain reports documenting prospecting and sales activities; preserve production standards and persistency levels.

Qualifications

Valid State Life Sales license.

Ability to complete LUTC or CLU coursework.

Maintain required Life and Health licenses.

Valid State driver’s license.

Will qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses for selling Auto Club Group products.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 2 years of proven record in soliciting and selling life insurance products.

Experience selling intangible products.

Skills and Competencies

Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity products.

Active listening and needs analysis to recommend best options.

Clear communication of complex information.

Proposal preparation and closing interview skills.

Assessment of customer insurance requirements per company standards.

Mathematical calculation of premiums and values.

Work Environment

Temperature‑controlled office setting.

Limited travel to community events; exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.
