Job Title : Business Analyst Location : [Remote]

Job Overview : The Business Analyst will work closely with various departments and stakeholders to analyze business operations, identify opportunities for process improvements, and provide data-driven recommendations. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of business processes, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Analysis & Reporting :

Analyze and interpret complex business data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support decision‑making.

Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to senior management and stakeholders.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure business performance.

Business Process Improvement :

Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.

Work with cross‑functional teams to recommend process improvements, automation, or software solutions.

Lead efforts to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

Requirements Gathering & Documentation :

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for new projects, software implementations, or process changes.

Translate business needs into functional specifications and ensure they are aligned with organizational goals.

Create clear and concise documentation for project teams, including business requirements, user stories, and use cases.

Stakeholder Management :

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (e.g., department heads, managers) and technical teams (e.g., IT, development).

Ensure clear and effective communication between stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.

Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or misunderstandings related to business needs.

Project Support & Implementation :

Support project management teams in planning, executing, and tracking projects to ensure timely delivery.

Assist in the implementation of new systems, processes, or software, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.

Monitor and evaluate the success of implemented solutions, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Risk & Opportunity Analysis :

Assess potential risks and challenges related to business decisions, new projects, or process changes.

Identify and evaluate opportunities for business growth, market expansion, or product enhancements.

Develop risk mitigation strategies and present recommendations to senior management.

Market & Competitive Analysis :

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive threats.

Provide actionable insights based on market data to support business strategy and planning.

Collaboration & Teamwork :

Work closely with other departments (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment on business objectives and priorities.

Facilitate meetings and workshops with business units to gather feedback, review progress, and ensure alignment on business goals.

Provide training and support to employees on new systems, tools, or processes.

Qualifications :

Education :

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Information Technology, or related field.

Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus.

Experience :

2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

Experience with data analysis, process improvement, and project management.

Familiarity with business analysis tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Jira, or other project management tools).

Skills :

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Strong organizational and time‑management skills.

Familiarity with business process modeling techniques and methodologies.

Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting is a plus.

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).

Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) or data visualization software.

Understanding of databases and experience with SQL or similar query languages.

Certifications (Optional) :

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

Project Management Professional (PMP)

Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

Work Environment :

Office‑based role, with potential for remote or hybrid work depending on company policy.

Standard business hours, with occasional extended hours or travel required for project work or client meetings.
