We are currently looking for a Manager of Hospital Accounts Receivables to join our fast-paced and growing Revenue Cycle Operations team. As the Manager of Hospital Accounts Receivables you will manage and oversee all functions of the output and quality of all payer accounts receivable and collaborate with the Director of Revenue Realization to identify strategies for performance improvement.
Position: Manager, Hospital Accounts Receivable
Location: Westchester County, NY - HYBRID
Responsibilities:
Contributes to the day-to-day operations related to effective and efficient AR management and cash acceleration processes; which may include analysis and trending, creating and delivering training, and assisting with implementation of new workflows
Collaborates with leaders and peers to identify strategies for performance improvement on a monthly and yearly basis
Maximizes cash flow while maintaining and improving internal and external customer relations
Manages associate's for account management, communication with insurance providers, collections, adhering to payor guidelines, and daily accounts receivable monitoring for payors who are trending low , and contract analysis
Serves as the resident expert and "go to" person for all account receivables, denials, and collection processes
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required might consider relevant work experience to substitute for degree
A minimum of five (5) years Hospital experience in Accounts Receivables and billing
Team lead or Supervisory prior experience in hospital Accounts Receivable related areas
Great communication and problem solving skills
