The Opportunity:
Seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented
Fund Accountant
to join their team. This role is ideal for professionals with public accounting experience, particularly those coming from Big 4 or a similar top‑tier firm, who has an interest in building a career in Fund Accounting (previous funds experience a plus but not required).
You will play a key role in supporting fund operations, financial reporting, and investor communications, while working closely with the finance and investment teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review periodic fund financial statements and capital account reporting
Assist with NAV calculations, investor allocations, and waterfall models
Coordinate with third‑party administrators, auditors, and tax advisors
Maintain internal records and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
Support year‑end audit and tax processes for multiple fund structures
Assist in enhancing accounting processes, systems, and controls
Collaborate cross‑functionally with investment, legal, and operations teams
Qualifications:
2‑3 years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or similar)
Strong interest in Fund Accounting (do not need previous funds audit experience)
CPA or CPA‑track preferred but not required
Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment
