Scope of the Role Reporting to Head B&P Financial Control in the company, Candidate will be responsible of performing the following role and responsibilities for some of the portfolio Metro projects in Egypt.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsible for financial Project Controlling in conformity with company’s policies on projects assigned
Work as business partner with the Global Project Manager (GPM) and do continuous link with Operational teams in Egypt and Prime countries
Coordinate with GPM the implementation and follow up of the costs for Work Packages
Validate on monthly basis Sales, GM, Cost Variance, AGM and Billing & Cash‑in on projects assigned
Ensure analysis of the project progress to detect and alert in anticipation about deviations to Budget and Forecast to secure the target KPIs on the projects
Prepare new estimations of Work Packages with GPM and validate with internal governing authority
Coordinate and produce monthly consolidated project reports (Dashboard) and forecasts data package with major risks and opportunities identified
Ensure coherence and alignment in the information shared with Prime countries’ financial controllers
Collaborate in the design and implementation of the tools (if any) with Prime Countries in order to be able to ensure the consolidation of the information
Participate and interface with Customer regularly/ weekly on billings and ensure the availability of required documents to ensure targeted Cash In
Provide assistance on commercial negotiation on contract changes, claims, reimbursements with Customer and Suppliers
Support Head of Financial Control and CFO in the monthly closings preparing accurate booking entries related to projects assigned, elaboration of Multi‑Year Budget, Forecasts, audits, tax inspections and ad‑hoc reports for the company
Support in the monthly Tax declaration for VAT, Withholding Tax, E‑Invoice Issuance
Work Experience Requirements
Years of Experience 7‑10 in Finance, out of which 3‑5 years specific in Finance control in construction contracts (audit/ is a plus)
Proven knowledge on Egyptian Tax's application
Proven knowledge on E‑invoice process and VAT declaration
Advanced with SAP and applying IFRS rules
Qualification, Certification & Educational Requirements
Graduated from Faculty of Commerce
Language: Arabic (native), English (proficiency)
Advance user on MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
IFRS Diploma (this is a plus)
Preferred Skills
Leadership and Communication skills
Customer and business oriented
Work under deadlines and accountable of deliverables
