Location Fort Lauderdale Hotel - Omni Fort Lauderdale will open in Fall 2025. The new 120,000 square foot hotel offers event space, multiple dining venues, a rooftop bar, spa, fitness center, and is adjacent to the Broward County Convention Center, Port Everglades cruise terminal, and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport.
Job Description The Omni Ft. Lauderdale Hotel is a 29‑story property at 1850 Eisenhower Blvd. It offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. The hotel also provides over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space including ballrooms, breakout rooms, and pre‑function meeting areas with waterfront views.
Responsibilities Perform all essential job duties according to Omni standards:
Ensure compliance with attendance and punctuality standards.
Follow uniform standards.
Properly set up and break down restaurant stations.
Understand service standards.
Understand the menu.
Deliver food and beverages accurately and in a timely manner to tables and bar.
Comply with food handling standards.
Deliver food to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
Complete all assigned duties before checking out with leadership.
Inspect and stock assigned station to ensure immaculately clean and presentable.
Handle station set‑up, breakdown, and side‑work.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
Qualifications
1 year of experience in a similar position preferred.
Must possess a valid ServSafe certification or be able to obtain one.
Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Environment & Position Analysis
Move, bend, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 40 pounds without assistance.
Stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
Requires repetitive motion.
May work both indoors and outdoors.
Tools & Equipment
Tray, tray jacks.
