Job Summary The Janitor will maintain cleanliness and order in school district facilities, performing heavy cleaning duties, such as floor cleaning, washing walls and windows, and trash disposal. The role supports a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Location Navasota ISD – 11937 Highway 105 East, Navasota, TX 77868. Openings at additional district locations are available.
Schedule Full‑time: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (days may vary)
Part‑time: 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm (days may vary)
Requirements
Prior experience cleaning and maintaining facilities within the Navasota ISD district.
Pay Range $11.00 – $11.50 per hour.

Responsibilities
Collect and dispose of trash in accordance with approved procedures and infection control plans.
Dust and mop floors.
Move, clean, and reposition furniture and equipment as needed.
Sanitize surfaces and use assigned materials and equipment.
Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean environment.
Seek areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
Perform tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and county guidelines.
Shampoo and buff floors.
Demonstrate professional conduct with customers and coworkers.
Perform additional duties as needed.
