Our Machine Operators play a pivotal role in the success of Penn Aluminum’s future by ensuring our customers’ production, safety and quality demands are met.
Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Scheduler. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, inventory levels, and capacity.
Analyze capacity and lead times to optimize machine utilization and minimize scrap.
Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to accommodate changes in demand, machine downtime or urgent orders.
Communicate schedule updates and priorities to Production and Die Shop.
Present production status and delivery timelines in daily Production/Scheduling meetings.
Regularly evaluate Shop Orders and close completed operations, adjusting material variance as needed.
Work with CSRs and Die Shop to create new parts for production and assist in the APQP process.
Skills
Must be able to work as part of a cross-functional team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.
Work Environment Office Environment.
Exposure On Manufacturing Floor
Noise, grease, metal shavings.
Exposure extreme heat.
Physical Demands / Requirements

Lifting (weight 25 lb) 45%
Pay Range 44,000.00 - 66,000.00
