Aerotek is hiring for Electricians
We are seeking skilled Electricians for a six-month project focused on the upfit of a shell building. This role involves layout planning, task delegation, and quality assurance to ensure installations meet code standards.
Responsibilities
Install electrical wiring, outlets, switches, panels, and lighting systems in new buildings
Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and electrical schematics to plan layouts
Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, and other trades to ensure timely installation
Run conduit and pull wire through walls, ceilings, and underground trenches
Mount and connect electrical boxes, circuit breakers, and transformers
Test newly installed systems for functionality and safety
Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building regulations
Maintain accurate records of installations and inspections
Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Essential Skills
Proficiency in conduit installation and bending.
Experience with wiring and troubleshooting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Skilled in construction and cable installation.
Experience in pulling wire and bending conduit.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Team player with a positive attitude.
Punctual and reliable.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
