Join a growing, well-established law firm in Bridgeport, WV, as a
Family Law Litigation Attorney . Handle divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, and related cases from intake to resolution. We are looking for a client-focused, organized attorney comfortable managing complex family law matters with both skill and compassion.
Key Responsibilities
Represent clients in divorce, child custody, support, and other family law litigation.
Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence.
Develop case strategies and manage cases from start to finish.
Maintain professional client communication throughout the case.
Work collaboratively with paralegals, administrative staff, and firm leadership.
Requirements
Active West Virginia law license
(or ability to obtain).
2+ years managing family law cases.
Courtroom experience preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
Professional demeanor, empathy, and discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with contested custody or support cases.
Mediation or negotiation experience.
Familiarity with WV family law statutes and procedures.
Previous law firm experience with billable caseloads.
Work Environment
Full-time onsite in
Clarksburg/Bridgeport, WV .
Steady caseload with administrative and paralegal support.

Education
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
