We are seeking a Resource Manager to join our team. The Resource Manager will work remotely within the United States.
As a Resource Manager you collaborate with executive and staff‑level professionals in this highly visible role. You will implement leadership strategies while executing the scheduling function for your team to include staff allocation, conflict resolution, and alignment of career goals. You will provide accurate and timely report analysis related to projected/actual hours, utilization, and headcount at both an organizational level and detailed level for practice employees; monitor over and under‑utilized individuals and develop actions to balance workload and reporting. You will collaborate with talent acquisition and People & Culture to boost the effectiveness of RM efforts.
As Resource Manager, you will:
Compile and analyze resource management reports (available resources, current resource allocations, resource needs due to changing project needs, etc) for delivery to management.
Define and coordinate the introduction and implementation of new Resource Management tools, infrastructure, and processes.
Take the lead in fulfilling project staffing requests, prioritizing resource requests and resolving resource allocation conflicts for the assigned projects.
Serve as a Trusted Business Advisor to the leaders in the practice along with Regional Leadership.
Experience creating insightful reports, presentations, and forecasts that allow for actionable, strategic decision making.
Identify risks proactively, make effective recommendations, and understand when to escalates complex issues.
Provide workload balancing, prioritization, resource scheduling, and integration of resources into multiple projects to maintain optimal utilization of resources.
Adaptability – you will serve as a change agent leading the way in change management.
Facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization, and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders to influence and get results.
What you bring to the role:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Minimum of 5 years scheduling/resource management experience or service line experience.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and merging capabilities.
Ability to communicate both verbally and written with diverse audiences at all levels of the organization.
Effective organization and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to respond positively to changing circumstances, seek and implement change to drive business improvement, serve as a change agent.
Operates with a sense of urgency.
Ability to facilitate collaborative discussions regarding resource assignment, utilization, and gap analysis between resource managers and leaders.
Ability to drive collaboration and communication between teams.
Process driven and ability to help train/drive/develop these processes to create unity and consistency across all offices within line of business and/or solution.
