Job Description As a Security Officer – Commercial Patrol in Zebulon, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients across a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. In this Patrol Unarmed Officer role, you’ll monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security‑related incidents, and maintain a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will join a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, where teamwork and integrity are at the heart of everything we do.

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem‑solving skills to support the location’s environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and suspicious behavior.
Document and report any security‑related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences observed during patrols.
Work collaboratively with location staff and Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment.
Follow all site‑specific instructions and protocols as required by the location’s management.
Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times while performing assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants with criminal histories may be considered in compliance with applicable laws.
Drug screen will be required to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
