Project Controls Lead
Day & Zimmermann is currently seeking an experienced PJC Lead for an aeroderivative gas turbine project in Memphis, TN. Duration is approximately 2 years.
Position Summary The Project Controls Lead oversees cost control, forecasting, and schedule integration for assigned projects, ensuring accurate reporting and financial integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cost and schedule management processes for large‑scale power or industrial projects.
Monitor project performance and analyze cost trends, variances, and forecasts.
Integrate cost, schedule, and progress data into consistent project reports.
Ensure compliance with company cost control procedures and reporting standards.
Support project change control and budget development activities.
Provide guidance to project controls staff and interface with client representatives.
Develop and present performance reports to management and stakeholders.
Identify risks and implement corrective measures to maintain project performance.
Experience & Education Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or Finance preferred. 10+ years of experience in project controls within power or industrial construction.
Preferred Skills Strong knowledge of cost management systems and earned value principles. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and cost tracking software. Excellent data analysis and communication skills.
Compensation In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $91,000 min - $206,000 max. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as the final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
