Continuous Improvement Analyst – Kiewit Supply Network Location:

Omaha, NE. The position is based out of our District Home Office with required travel between office and project locations.

Position Overview The Kiewit Supply Network Continuous Improvement team is responsible for designing, building, and supporting automated processes for various functions in Procurement and related process improvement. As a Continuous Improvement Analyst, you will analyze existing processes with functional managers and subject‑matter experts, design automated solutions, test automations, and maintain deployed solutions.

District Overview Kiewit Supply Network specializes in providing comprehensive supply chain services to clients in construction and engineering across multiple markets: transportation; water/wastewater; power; oil, gas and chemical; building; and mining. Key objectives focus on ensuring equipment, materials, and services are consistently estimated and procured at the right price, delivered on schedule, and meet client specifications. Highest quality and compliance are paramount.

Responsibilities

Re‑design business processes for automated state.

Facilitate process review sessions.

Generate detailed functional design documents using the SIPOC model.

Collaborate with developers during RPA build.

Support robust testing of automated processes: develop plans, provision data, execute and communicate results.

Provide timely status updates on all active automation projects.

Identify impacted stakeholders and support communications/change management.

Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.

Provide excellent customer service to all departments and promote urgency toward business‑critical issues.

Contribute to monitoring and support of automation solutions.

Assist in post‑automation assessments.

Partner with business customers to understand challenges, advise solutions, and translate requirements and acceptance criteria.

Demonstrate ability to analyze current state and identify problems.

Understand customer processes through observation and interviews.

Plan, create, and maintain necessary test cases per internal best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related field.

Preferred experience with SAP.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Experience designing/automating processes and supporting testing of automations desired.

Experience writing functional design documents and test plans.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment, adapting rapidly and balancing multiple projects.

Highly motivated, passionate, and takes initiative.

Analytical thinker capable of decomposing complex problems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to understand and analyze business processes and guide teams through evaluation and restructure.

Ability to identify interrelationships among processes, risks, and controls.

Excellent collaboration and relationship‑building skills.
