The position of Retail Associate is vital to our operation. The role focuses on billing, payment functions, and strong customer service. Retail Clerks perform tasks with concentration and dedication while following company standard operating procedures.
Job Summary These are the basic responsibilities of the position:
Obtain Tier II training.
Greet all customers, employees, and vendors.
Assist customers with transactions, purchases, and returns of goods and services.
Clean, organize, and restock shelves promptly.
Answer multiple phone lines.
Assist other employees as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Job Qualifications / Prerequisites
High School diploma or GED preferred.
Previous customer service experience preferred.
Willingness to obtain propane certification upon hire.
Friendly and appropriate greeting of all customers, employees, and vendors.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on importance.
Proper telephone etiquette when communicating with customers, employees, and vendors.
Strong team‑player focus in all interactions.
Accurate handling of money, giving change, and recording multiple transactions.
Professional and positive image at all times.
