As the Regional Business Developer you will drive market growth, expand the company's presence, and cultivate strong partnerships across the Midwest region. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships with employers, and promoting workforce programs and services that address regional labor-market needs. The ideal candidate is a consultative seller with deep knowledge of workforce development, staffing, talent acquisition, etc. and will be located in one of the following states: Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, or Indiana.
Responsibilities
Prospecting, outbound outreach, and pipeline creation
Discovery meetings, solution design, pricing, and proposals
On-site visits and relationship building
CRM management, reporting, and forecasting
New account launch participation and operational handoff
Networking, conferences, community/association involvement
Qualifications
3-5 years of business development experience
Proven success in consultative sales within workforce development, staffing, talent solutions, or a related industry
Understanding of regional labor-market trends and employer challenges
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to travel throughout the Midwest region
