Minneapolis/St Paul, MN Class A CDL Shuttle Driver (Transportation) Martin Bros. Distributing Co. is a nationally recognized foodservice distributor, and we are hiring! Responsibilities
Shuttle empty trailers from Minneapolis to the Cedar Falls Distribution Center and shuttle loaded trailers back to the Minneapolis depot. Shuttle drivers are responsible for safely transporting the route trailer they are assigned to the appropriate domicile location prior to the route leave time as assigned by the schedule. Prior to departure, collect all necessary documents for the appropriate route driver they are servicing (invoices, messages, credits) from the driver’s mailbox. Upon arriving at the domicile location, transfer appropriate documents to the domicile driver’s tractor and collect all documents left from the prior day’s route to bring back to the distribution center. Take supplies such as carts and envelopes to domicile drivers as needed. Schedule
The shuttle driver starts their shift in Owatonna around 4:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday nights. The average driver is working 812 hour days and currently averages 40-50 hours per week. Shuttle routes work evening/overnight/early morning hours. Qualifications
Class A CDL is required with a good driving record. Shuttle driver must be able to work independently.
