Overview
The Hydraulic Cylinder Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, including large-bore and close-tolerance units used in industrial and oil & gas applications. This is a hands-on role requiring precision measurement, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild hydraulic/pneumatic cylinders efficiently and to customer specifications Measure seals and components using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Interpret manufacturing drawings, schematics, service manuals, and GD&T Assemble parts lists and document work using manufacturing systems Ensure compliance with quality systems (ISO 9001 / API Q1) and safety procedures Perform inspections, report nonconformances, and support continuous improvement efforts Maintain clean, organized work areas and meet daily production goals Qualifications
Hands-on experience with hydraulic cylinder repair or rebuild Proficiency with precision measuring tools and hand tools Strong understanding of seals, tolerances, and hydraulic tooling Familiarity with ISO 9001 and API Q1 standards Mechanically inclined with solid communication skills Additional Information
Hours: 6:30am - 5pm / Mon - Friday Working 50-60hrs week
