Interstate Power Systems is looking for an experienced Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician for our Bismarck North Dakota location. We are offering highly competitive wages!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Allison Transmission Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to diagnose, remove, repair, and maintain heavy-duty Allison transmissions used in commercial vehicles, such as trucks, buses, and heavy-duty equipment. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge of Allison transmissions and a proven track record of delivering high-quality service.

Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Job Duties
Primary focus on Transmission related issues
Diesel engines and bumper-to-bumper truck repairs
Inspect, diagnose, and repair transmission non-conformance.
Diagnose and repair basic equipment wiring.
Performs other routine duties.
Allison Transmission Mechanic/Technician Desired Skills, Qualities and Requirements
Positive attitude and the ability to set goals and accomplish them.
The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training.
Solid written and verbal communication skills
High school degree or equivalent
Technical degree or Allison certification a plus
Minimum of 5 years' experience working with Allison transmissions
Be able to work with diagnostic computers for troubleshooting and repairs.
Must be physically able to lift and work with no restrictions.
