This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, supervising Shipping Clerks and office staff while actively performing key shipping functions. May perform other duties as assigned.* **Keep Operations Running Smoothly -** Monitor & Manage: Ensure all office activities—such as processing paperwork for deliveries and shipments—are completed accurately and on time. Stay Organized: Verify paperwork for correctness and maintain electronic filing systems for easy access and compliance.* **Drive Performance & Productivity -** Optimize Practices: Review and refine working methods to maximize efficiency while ensuring adherence to company standards. Maintain Records: Compile and manage essential reports, logs, and documentation to keep operations transparent and efficient.* **Manage Resources & Supplies -** Control Inventory: Oversee office inventory and order supplies as needed to keep the team equipped and productive.* **Lead & Collaborate -** Partner for Success: Work closely with the Distribution Services Manager and other supervisors to implement new initiatives and continuously improve service to the Distribution Center. Team Development: Manage workforce performance, identify training needs through regular appraisals, and foster a culture of growth and excellence.**WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job.
