Overall accountabilities are defined in this section.As a Distribution Services Supervisor, you’ll be the front-line leader ensuring smooth operations at our Distribution Center. This role combines hands-on expertise with strategic oversight, supervising Shipping Clerks and office staff while actively performing key shipping functions. You’ll be the go-to problem solver, communicator, and process innovator—keeping freight moving and customers happy.**WHAT YOU’LL DO:**The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this job. May perform other duties as assigned.* **Keep Operations Running Smoothly -** Monitor & Manage: Ensure all office activities—such as processing paperwork for deliveries and shipments—are completed accurately and on time. Stay Organized: Verify paperwork for correctness and maintain electronic filing systems for easy access and compliance.* **Drive Performance & Productivity -** Optimize Practices: Review and refine working methods to maximize efficiency while ensuring adherence to company standards. Maintain Records: Compile and manage essential reports, logs, and documentation to keep operations transparent and efficient.* **Manage Resources & Supplies -** Control Inventory: Oversee office inventory and order supplies as needed to keep the team equipped and productive.* **Lead & Collaborate -** Partner for Success: Work closely with the Distribution Services Manager and other supervisors to implement new initiatives and continuously improve service to the Distribution Center. Team Development: Manage workforce performance, identify training needs through regular appraisals, and foster a culture of growth and excellence.**WHAT WE’RE SEEKING:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
