Location: Atlanta Operations, Lithia Springs, GA – Onsite.

Overview The Continuous Improvement Analyst is responsible for driving operational excellence within the Distribution Center (DC) by managing daily performance systems, leading the 5S program, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role also delivers Continuous Improvement (CI) training during new hire orientation and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely communication of updates.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation of SOPs and guidance documents for all new processes within the DC.

Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and user-friendly for operational teams.

Maintain and update existing SOPs and guidance documents to reflect process changes and compliance standards.

Collaborate with Distribution, GTS, and Product teams to review and approve updates promptly.

Implement a structured review and communication process to keep stakeholders informed of changes.

Support and sustain Daily Management processes across all DC operations.

Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify improvement opportunities.

Facilitate daily huddles and ensure action items are documented and completed.

Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the 5S program throughout the DC.

Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement in workplace organization.

Train and engage team members in 5S principles and best practices.

Deliver CI-focused training sessions during new hire orientation.

Develop and maintain training materials to ensure consistency and clarity.

Act as a resource for employees to reinforce CI principles and tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.

2+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Lean, or related roles within a distribution or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of Lean principles, 5S methodology, and process documentation.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills for training and team engagement.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CI tools (Kaizen, PDCA, etc.).

Previous experience in SOP creation and updates required.

Technical writing experience is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs occasionally for handling documents, materials, or equipment.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment with varying temperatures.
