Quantity Surveyor Management Admin Assistant
Brunel is currently searching for a Quantity Surveyor Management Admin Assistant (Contract) for a long-term contract position with our client located in Bagdad, Arizona. If candidate is not local to Bagdad, Arizona, client will provide accommodations and travel for a 4-week on, 1 week at home rotation, along with monthly stipend for living expenses.
Essential Functions
Assists the Quantity Surveyor with admin duties and documentation generated by quantity measurement and estimation.
Collaborate with the project Quantity Surveyor to accurately record all documentation relating to estimate costs, develop budgets, and monitor expenses throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist to accurately assess the quantity and quality of materials, equipment, and labor required.
Assist to track and document progress, including quantity of work completed and actual costs incurred. Prepare progress reports and provide timely updates to project stakeholders.
Keep records of variations and claims related to quantities, costs, and scope changes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quantity surveys, cost estimates, and project progress. Prepare comprehensive reports, including quantity takeoffs, cost breakdowns, and cost forecasts.
Collaborate closely with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, resolve issues, and facilitate smooth project execution.
Adhere to all relevant regulations, standards, and safety guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor assistant and/or Project Controls admin in the construction and/or industry, with a strong focus on field operations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in admin and records.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment. Willingness to work on-site as required.
Proficient in the use of personal computers in a business environment: MS Word, Excel, Outlook, is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A relevant professional certification is preferred.
Experience with large copper production and related facilities.
Prior EPCM experience preferred.
Working as a team member (Client, EPCM & Contractors).
Proficiency in quantity measurement techniques, cost estimation, and cost control methods. Experience with computer-aided quantity surveying software is advantageous.
