Full-Time Overview Fishbeck is seeking a talented and experienced Transportation Engineer to join our Indianapolis office. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to lead roadway design projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with clients such as INDOT and local agencies.

What You'll Do
Lead plan production for roadway and freeway design projects using MicroStation/Geopak and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
Coordinate with clients including INDOT, local municipalities, consultants, and contractors.
Assist in developing project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals.
Apply engineering knowledge and software tools to deliver innovative solutions.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Fishbeck offices.
Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
PE license required
10+ years of experience in roadway engineering, including INDOT and local agency projects
Proficiency in MicroStation/Geopak required
Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and other design modeling software is a plus
Familiarity with HEC‑RAS, HY8, and StormCAD is a plus
Experience with storm sewer drainage design, pavement markings, signing plans, and maintenance of traffic plans
Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills
