Your role
As the
Inventory Controller & SAP BKU Logistics , your ability to communicate effectively and deliver outstanding customer service will be key to building strong relationships with clients and promoting a positive company image. You will be responsible for managing inventory levels within our warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in stock handling, and supporting logistics operations through SAP.
This role involves close collaboration with vendors, internal departments, and branch locations to maintain optimal inventory flow and support business operations.
Location: Rock Hill, SC Key Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain inventory levels in accordance with company policy (GIM).
Create monthly reports on inventory returns and scrap.
Lead monthly inventory meetings with Business Line Managers (BLMs).
Ensure timely follow-up on purchase orders with vendors.
Serve as the main point of contact between the factory and UTR for deliveries and order issues.
Act as SAP BKU for Logistics.
Support logistics order handlers and planners to ensure smooth order processing.
Coordinate location changes in collaboration with the Warehouse Supervisor.
Reverse and cancel erroneous orders to maintain accurate inventory records.
Monitor SDTC inventory weekly.
Assist branches and other warehouses with inventory needs.
Reconcile inventory discrepancies and process stock adjustments.
Approve and process invoices for payment.
Maintain records of inventory and outstanding orders.
Propose and implement new ideas to help the organization meet and exceed KPIs.
To succeed, you will need Education
Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
3-5 years of experience in customer service and/or warehouse operations.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Creative problem-solving and “outside-the-box” thinking.
Ability to thrive in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment.
Experience with SAP or in a similar industry is a strong asset.
Travel Up to 5% of domestic travel may be required.
