AristaCare Health Services is currently looking for an experienced Human Resource Manager for our Manchester location. In this role, you will oversee the daily functions of human resources including interviewing, hiring, benefits, leaves, workers’ compensation and enforcing company policies and practices.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with the department heads to coordinate staffing, recruiting and retention needs.
Recruits, interviews, and assists department heads as necessary with selection of qualified employees to fill vacant positions.
Makes offers and conducts pre‑employment requirements such as background checks, employment eligibility verifications, etc.
Implements new hire orientation and ensures compliance with license, job training, continuing education, etc.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
Responds to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
Investigates accidents/incidents and prepares required reports.
Administers performance evaluation program.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in human resources; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience in a nursing home or health care environment is a must.
SHRM Certification desired.
