Job Title: Inspector IV – 18006
Description Bearings Inspector – An entry‑level role reporting to the Quality Supervisor/Manager. You do not need an A&P license for this role.
What you will be responsible for:
Visual Inspection:
checking the appearance of bearings for damage, wear, or other defects.
Dimensional Inspection:
using tools to verify that bearings meet dimensional specifications and tolerances.
Functional Testing:
assessing the functionality of bearings, potentially including speed, noise, or vibration tests.
Record Keeping:
documenting inspection results and reporting any non‑conforming parts or issues.
Quality Assessment:
determining if bearings meet quality standards and can be accepted or rejected.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Bearing types:
familiarity with different types of bearings (ball bearing, roller bearings) and their applications.
Visual Inspection skills:
ability to identify defects and wear patterns in bearings.
Communication skills:
ability to clearly communicate findings and recommendations in English.
Record‑Keeping skills:
accuracy and attention to detail in documenting inspection results.
