JOB DETAILS Compensation: The hourly base pay range for this position is $17 per hour.

Work Schedule: The work schedule for this position is flexible, varying from 7AM–2:00 AM (includes weekends).

SUMMARY The Lot Attendant is responsible for accurately collecting and reconciling revenue and parking reports while providing exceptional hospitality services in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner to all guests during their entire stay. The Lot Attendant is also responsible for properly parking and retrieving guest vehicles, when stacking is necessary, and upholding the parking policy and procedures of the sites management teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Maintains pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, location staff and co‑workers; acknowledges and greets guests immediately and uses last name at all times (15%)

Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure; uses appropriate greetings, phone etiquette, and assists guests with directions and inquiries; stands while serving guests (15%)

Provides information about surrounding area and main attractions; protects guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA; maintains security of customer financial and identifying information (10%)

Stacks vehicles when necessary using parking standards; securely stores keys; retrieves stacked vehicles promptly and cautious (20%)

Collects and reconciles revenue accurately; furnishes receipt; categorizes tickets for audit; completes shift report; follows standard operating procedures; operates equipment (20%)

Obtains information about daily events and rates; secures guest keys; maintains claim checks and guest folio archives; produces guest vehicle inventory for billing (20%)

QUALIFICATIONS Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Required Licensure, Certification, etc.

Must be at least 18 years of age and pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Work Experience

One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge

Customer service knowledge

Skills

Customer service experience preferred

Register/Computer experience preferred

Ability to drive manual transmission and perform parallel parking

Ability to read and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions and memos

Ability to write simple correspondence

Ability to present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to guests, clients and employees

Basic math skills (add/Subtract three‑digit numbers, multiply/divide by tens and hundreds; use of units of American money, weight, volume, and distance)

Understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems

Understanding of rates applicable to time passed

SCOPE The job is fairly routine within established procedures; decisions are made within specific operational instructions and departmental guidelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Requires ability to talk or hear, sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Vision required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, focus adjustment.

Lifting: up to 100 pounds occasionally; up to 50 pounds frequently; up to 20 pounds constantly.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT Primarily outdoors for extended periods, subject to extreme heat and cold weather; protection provided as appropriate.

TRAVEL Travel up to 5% may be required.
