Mechanical Assembler
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team, focusing on mechanical assembly using hand tools, pneumatic tools, and performing tasks such as drilling and tapping while reading assembly drawings. This position requires the ability to work overtime, including extended hours daily and on weekends. You will be responsible for performing quality control checks to identify any imperfections or missed steps in the assembly process. The role involves reading and interpreting blueprints accurately.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly using hand and pneumatic tools.
Read and interpret assembly drawings and blueprints.
Conduct quality control checks to identify imperfections or missed assembly steps.
Collaborate within a 3-person cell to support the assembly of waterjet machines alongside an Electrical Assembler and a Final Assembler.
Essential Skills
Prior mechanical assembly experience.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in electrical assembly is a plus.
Basic computer knowledge.

Work Environment You will work in a manufacturing environment as part of a 3-person assembly cell. The position is based on the 1st shift, with work hours from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, and occasional work on Fridays for 6-8 hours.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
