Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Legal Administrative Assistant for our New York Office. This position will provide administrative support to our Capital Markets lawyers in a highly collaborative working environment. This is a hybrid role.
Responsibilities
Manage legal administrative tasks, including conflicts checks, client-matter openings, reconciling expenses, billing, electronic approvals, calendaring, conference room reservations, travel arrangements
Coordinate and track high-priority action items and follow-ups to ensure attorneys meet deadlines
Handle confidential communication, including managing and screening emails, calls and correspondence.
Utilize the Document Management System (iManage) for secure and timely filing and retrieval of electronic records/documentation
Provide administrative and organizational support, including planning of internal and external conferences and meetings, and organizing catering
Proven ability to manage a heavy workload, prioritize competing deadlines and work overtime as needed
Duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature
Other duties may be assigned to fully meet the requirements for this position
Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a mid- to large-size law firm with prior legal administrative experience in Capital Markets, Corporate, Finance or Litigation practice preferred
Technical proficiency in MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proficient in iManage. Intapp, Emburse, Chrome River, Kiteworks and Litera
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact confidently and discreetly with clients and high-level partners and executives with exceptional focus
New York Only DOE: $90,000 - $110,000
