Required Skills: Two years as an administrative assistant at executive level or executive secretarial level required, preferably in hospital administrative environment. Associate degree in business, office management or related discipline preferred. OR any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Qualifications/Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Proficient in use of dictating/recording equipment, typing 40 wpm. Ability to maintain quality and safety standards. Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management. Effective organizational and time management skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality. Ability to work closely and professionally with others. Responsibilities

Coordinates all clerical functions for various departments. Responsibilities include: assessing priorities in order to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner; training new clerical staff; and interviewing candidates for open positions. Integrates the hospital’s mission and “Guiding Principles” into daily practice.
