Position Overview Electronic Game Support / Maintenance Technician
– The Game Technician is responsible for maintaining the functionality of our unique game technology, troubleshooting repairs, and reporting issues promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions.
Move throughout the facility and stand for extended periods of time.
Kneel, stoop, bend, and twist frequently while handling small tools and components.
Read and write handwritten notes and documentation.
Lift and carry up to 30 pounds and navigate stairs and dimly lit areas.
Maintain a confined, crowded, guest‑occupied space with variable noise and temperature levels.
Keep a hand‑dexterity focus to fine‑tune small components and use fine tools.
Adhere to reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.
Qualifications
2+ years of technical support or maintenance experience.
Proficient with computer systems, technology, and PC hardware installations.
Ability to learn unique software and hardware systems that support the game.
Familiarity with technical documentation; ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
Familiarity with electronic circuitry and testing equipment.
Skilled in practical application of electronics and mechanics.
Experience with hand tools and small power tools.
Possess a guest‑focused mindset; provide an exceptional experience.
Effective communication with management, peers, and guests.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to multitask.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including days, nights, holidays, and weekends; requires standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
Must pass a post‑offer background check.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Proven experience in technical support and maintenance in a gaming or entertainment environment.
Strong problem‑solving skills to troubleshoot component‑level issues.
Experience with small electronic and mechanical repairs.
Familiar with Ethernet data infrastructure.
Soldering experience.
Basic understanding of electromechanical devices such as linear actuators and small conveyor systems.
