Product Supply NPI Professional
Location: Building LC in Peoria, IL, on-site five days per week.

Job Summary Represent and support the Supply Chain Team within the MineStar Product Group. Focus on New Product Introduction (NPI) teams, ensure NPI conformance on procurement and supply chain issues, monitor and report NPI progress, hold NPI & design teams accountable for quality and timeliness. Assist in managing procurement and supply chain related capital and material readiness for early learner, pilot and field follow builds.
Responsibilities
Accountability: Understand product & component strategies, S&OP strategies, NPI process and business processes to deliver commitments. Forecast and manage procurement-related capital and expense items, NPI target setting and conformance.
Leadership: Lead NPI activities within S&OP, recognize cost and inventory reductions and quality improvement, promote professionalism and ethics.
Strategy: Apply 6 Sigma tools and techniques; training may be Black Belt, Green Belt or other program.
Customers: Solve NPI problems, identify and satisfy Critical Customer Requirements (CCR), manage expectations of product teams.
Performance: Work with Product & Component Groups to develop and implement cost, quality and response time targets, monitor and provide feedback.
Required Skills
Project Management: Plan, organize, monitor and control projects.
Technical: Use Power Automate, SharePoint, PowerBI or learn new applications. Capture KPI’s for NPI supply chain team.
Teamwork: Collaborate toward shared goals, support others at all levels.
NPI: Deep knowledge of product, NPI, manufacturing, supply network, and category & facilities strategies.
Procurement: Experience in procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and/or engineering.
Supplier Management: Manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers.
Problem Solving: Apply approaches, tools and techniques to recognize and resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with WebPD, Item Scout, NPI Process and mapping tools.
Knowledge of engineering bill of material structure and parts authorization process.
Managing multiple programs and projects, ensuring closure.
Leading internal teams, suppliers and customers to solutions.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles as applied by Caterpillar and its suppliers.
Pay Range $97,530.00 – $146,290.00 (salary varies by factors such as location and experience).
