Position Description UCSF School of Medicine and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals Division of Allergy, Immunology, Bone Marrow Transplantation Department of Pediatrics
The Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Francisco, and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals is recruiting for faculty positions at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks in the Adjunct, Clinical X, HS Clinical, or In Residence faculty series, with a focus on Allergy/Immunology. Academic rank is commensurate with experience.
Selected candidates will join a major academic medical center and an established fellowship training program. This position may have clinical responsibilities at both the San Francisco and Oakland campuses and would actively contribute to the Department's mission of excellence in research, education, and patient care.

Clinical Opportunities
Primary immunodeficiency diagnosis and management
State-of-the-art cellular therapy treatment for inborn errors of immunity
Comprehensive food allergy program including oral immunotherapy
Drug allergy and desensitization services
Multidisciplinary clinics in primary immune regulatory disease (PIRD) and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID)
Specialized Facilities and Resources
State-of-the-art pediatric procedure clinic
Advanced diagnostic immunology laboratories
Dedicated infusion center for biologic therapy
Robust collaborative research facilities and with academic and industry partners
Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) lead center

Minimum Qualifications
Medical degree and license
Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics and/or Internal Medicine
Board eligibility or certification in Allergy and Immunology
Preferred Qualifications
Proven abilities in collaborative teamwork
A strong interest in pursuing a career in academic pediatrics
Experience in supervising residents and medical students in clinical settings
Salary For positions that are 51% effort or more: The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $114,100-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
For positions that are 50% effort or less: See Table 2 for the salary range for this position. A reasonable estimate for this position is $81,500-$246,000.
