Job Summary:
We are looking for a capable Warehouse Specialist to support our company’s warehouse operations. You will receive, input, sort, load and unload products and perform various warehouse activities
Primary Responsibilities:
Process package and ship orders accurately
Unload trucks and receive in inventory
Organize stocks and maintain inventory
Utilize a Production Report and work closely with Customer Service to ensure timely shipments.
Organize warehouse space
Work with transportation contacts for all shipments as well as brokers for international shipments
Responsible for light configuration of some product.
Assists in all matters of facilities maintenance, safety, and upkeep.
Decision Making Authority: The Warehouse Specialist performs duties in an independent manner with little or no supervision, exercises basic discretion and judgment regarding routine work, and looks for assistance on non-routine events and issues
Skills Required:
Ability to lift heavy boxes
Prior experience and strong knowledge of shipping protocols
Strong organizational skills
Good business judgment
Good interpersonal skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a complete manner
Ability to proactively anticipate needs
Ability to be flexible and work as part of a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize
Working knowledge of MS office, Word, Excel, and shipping programs such as Fedex and UPS. Ability to learn new programs such as Microsoft Dynamics AX
High School degree or equivalent
