Logistics Operations Lead – PPF (2nd Shift), Leo, PPF Logistics
Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities worldwide. Export Control Requirement: Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (currently Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Project Kuiper’s Payload Processing Facility (PPF) seeks an experienced logistics professional to manage day‑to‑day activities in Florida and French Guiana. The role requires up to 25 % travel and is for the 2nd shift. Candidates must pass federal security checks to receive an access badge for Kennedy Space Center.
Key Job Responsibilities
Write, review, and provide feedback on SOPs related to warehousing and inventory activities at the PPF.
Receive Kuiper‑managed and supplier shipments.
Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive and manage material.
Execute functional requirements of global trade and transportation management software.
Provide guidance and expertise in logistics‑related discussions.
Accurately track and account for all inventory located at the PPF warehouse, including cycle counts.
Efficiently deliver material to PPF stakeholders, both physically and virtually.
Coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard.
Receive, schedule, and coordinate inbound deliveries.
Meet operational metrics related to warehouse receiving and inventory activities.
Effectively communicate high‑priority matters with Transportation leadership.
Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand carts.
Work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Basic Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
3 + years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience, or a bachelor’s degree.
Ability to pass Kennedy Space Center background checks.
Valid driver’s license and ability to satisfy Amazon driver eligibility criteria.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
Ability and willingness to comply with the Government of French Guiana’s vaccination requirements for yellow fever.
3 + years of experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments while maintaining commitment to deadlines.
Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
Experience in team leadership.
Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications.
Experience working proactively and independently, meeting deadlines, and delivering on projects and tasks.
Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent.
Knowledge of supply chain management concepts: forecasting, planning, sourcing, optimization, and logistics.
Previous dangerous goods training or knowledge.

The base pay for this position ranges from $61,100 per year in our lowest geographic market to $100,800 per year in our highest geographic market.
