Lead Recruitment Consultant

Company Overview Our client is a globally recognized fabless semiconductor company specializing in connectivity and multimedia IC solutions. Known for technical excellence and innovation, they are expanding their footprint in the automotive market with a focus on Wireless Audio, Bluetooth, Infotainment, Telematics, and ADAS technologies. The company is now hiring its first EU-based automotive business development lead.
Role Overview This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on developing and growing business within the European automotive sector. You will take the lead in expanding commercial relationships with major automotive OEMs (e.g., Volkswagen Group, Renault, Stellantis, Mercedes‑Benz, BMW) and Tier 1 suppliers. Your primary focus will be on solutions in Wireless Bluetooth and Audio, Telematics and ADAS (Ethernet‑based). You will be reporting directly to the EU Sales Director and play a key role in driving the company’s automotive growth strategy in Europe.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business opportunities with European automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Focus on promoting Bluetooth, Wireless Audio, Infotainment, Telematics, and ADAS/Ethernet technologies.
Build and manage relationships with key decision-makers in companies such as VW, Renault, Stellantis, Mercedes‑Benz, BMW, and their Tier 1 ecosystem.
Manage the full sales lifecycle: from prospecting and technical presentations to deal negotiation and post‑sales support.
Coordinate closely with the engineering and product support teams to align customer needs with product roadmaps.
Provide market feedback and intelligence to support regional go‑to‑market and product strategies.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and technical meetings across Europe.
Candidate Profile / Must‑Have Experience
Minimum of 5 years of sales or business development experience in the automotive electronics or semiconductor space (10+ year experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of Wireless Bluetooth and Audio products/technologies (preferred).
Experience selling products related to infotainment, telematics, or ADAS (especially Ethernet‑based solutions).
Proven track record working with or selling to European automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Must have experience working for a semiconductor company (e.g., Marvell, NXP, Microchip, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Infineon, Cypress) or a Tier 1 automotive supplier or an electronics distributor (e.g., Arrow, Future Electronics, TTI).
