Christ Methodist Day School seeks an Interim 5th Grade Math teacher beginning in late February 2026. The interim must be passionate about teaching and fostering excitement in elementary students. He or she should be willing to try new things, embrace new technology and curriculum, while also adhering to the many traditions that CMDS holds dear. An understanding of assessing children, as well as a knowledge and love of math, is a must.
Qualifications
Diploma in education or a related field (Bachelors or Masters)
Prior teaching experience
Active participant on the grade-level teaching team
Ability to teach math and use a balanced approach to technology
Genuine love of children’s education and commitment to professionalism
