We are looking for a dedicated Busser to be the engine of our dining room flow. This role is about more than just clearing dishes—it’s about speed, sanitation, and supporting the entire front-of-house team to ensure every guest gets the legendary hospitality Memphis is known for.

The Role: Dining Room Flow and Guest Support The Busser is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficient turnover of the dining room, ensuring seamless customer service and a positive atmosphere consistent with the mission of Central BBQ, LLC.
Key Responsibilities (What You Will Do):
Table Turnover Speed:
Master the art of the quick flip! Promptly clean and reset tables, chairs, and booths between guests. Wipe surfaces with dampened cloths as needed, ensuring a perfect setting for the next arrival.
Sanitation & Cleanup:
Quickly and efficiently clean up spilled food/drink or broken dishes and promptly remove trash. Inspect assigned restrooms every 30 minutes, and clean as needed to maintain sanitary conditions.
Dish Breakdown & Transport:
Remove used tableware between courses. Scrape, stack, sort, and carry dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to the designated dish area for cleaning.
Team Support & Expediting:
Work hand-in-hand with runners and cashiers to expedite efficient seating, table utilization, and superior customer service. This includes carrying food, dishes, trays, or silverware from the kitchen and filling in for fellow team members when needed.
Guest Ambassadorship:
Be the first point of contact for hospitality. Greet guests as you are walking around, check in on them, and thank guests as they leave. Locate and communicate items requested by guests to appropriate team members.
Stock & Prep Management:
Ensure adequate supplies are always available. Maintain and restock clean silverware, glassware, dishes, or trays. Fill beverage/ice dispensers and stock cabinets/serving areas with condiments.
Facility Maintenance:
Clean counters, shelves, walls, furniture, or equipment in food service areas, and mop or vacuum floors.
Heavy Lifting (Supply Chain):
Assist with loading/unloading supply trucks and carrying heavy items to storage or service counters.
Skills and Qualifications (What You Will Bring): To excel in this role, candidates should be highly energetic, proactive, and committed to working in a team environment.
