Bodyshop / Collision Center Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Bodyshop / Collision Center Technician to join our team. This role involves maintaining and repairing vehicle bodies with speed, accuracy, and quality. You will work on a wide variety of vehicle types and are expected to be reliable, safety conscious, and able to perform stand‑alone tasks.
Base Pay Range $33.80 / hr - $83.00 / hr (Base Pay). Production bonuses may apply, and a retention bonus of $0.25 per booked hour is offered.

Body Shop Technician Responsibilities
Perform assigned vehicle body repair work with speed, accuracy, and quality, meeting manufacturer, insurance, and dealership standards.
Maintain a consistent level of competence in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Identify parts and equipment required to complete work in a timely manner.
Complete all work safely, following federal, state, manufacturer, and company safety guidelines.
Report damaged or unsafe equipment or tools to management.
Drive safety‑driven evaluation routes for vehicles.
Inspect vehicles for defects, flaws, blemishes and damage on exterior and interior.
Adhere to all state, federal, and DMV laws, company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and industry guidelines.
Qualifications
Previous experience at an automotive dealership.
Strong understanding of the service drive.
High school diploma or equivalent (years of experience may vary).
Dexterity, steady hand, excellent hand‑eye coordination.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer competencies.
Positive, friendly attitude with a customer‑service mentality.
Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
Team player who can collaborate effectively.
Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, and specifications.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Willing to submit to pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
Valid driver’s license with insurability by employer’s carrier.
