Position Summary The Inventory Assistant is responsible for supporting the management of assets and supplies within inventory. They will organize, track and store incoming and outgoing assets. They will ensure accurate record-keeping and help maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the daily inventory management tasks
Process incoming and outgoing inventory transactions, ensuring all data is accurately recorded
Participate in regular inventory audits and assist in developing best practices to optimize inventory efficiency and accuracy
Assist with generating inventory reports when needed
Collaborate with logistics teams to facilitate smooth operations and timely deliveries
Conduct regular audits to verify the information in the asset management system
Maintain a neat, labeled and efficient storage area
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma is preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving abilities
