Position Overview At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis. Lilly is entering an exciting period of growth and is building a new, environmentally conscious, highly automated campus in Concord, North Carolina. The Night Shift Supervisor will support the start‑up and ongoing operations of the Parenteral (PAR) area, ensuring a safe, quality‑focused, and inclusive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the start‑up phase of the PAR area, coordinating support, training, and technical proficiency development.

Supervise line leaders and operators, ensuring adequate staffing, training, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Maintain a safe work environment, exemplifying “Stop Work Authority” and supporting HSE goals.

Act as both administrative and technical leader, providing coaching, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.

Develop and update procedures, work instructions, and job aids for start‑up, training, and operations.

Own the investigation of deviations, quality issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Build and sustain an inclusive, diverse culture and empower the team through communication and shared best practices.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Prior supervisory experience.

Basic computer skills, including MS Office.

Experience in pharma, food, or clean‑room manufacturing operations.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests.

Strong technical aptitude and ability to train and mentor others.

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Attributes

4+ years in manufacturing/operations with 2+ years in a supervisory role.

Knowledge of cGMP, FDA guidelines, and clean‑room environments.

STEM degree or certification.

Experience with aseptic filling, isolator technology, and automated inspection.

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems and SAP or other electronic business systems.

Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Ability to organize and motivate teams.

Time Commitments and Work Authorization

Overtime as required.

Wear safety equipment (glasses, shoes, gloves, etc.).

Work and gown in a cleanroom (Grade C, ISO 8).

12‑hour night shift (6 pm–6 am) on a 2‑2‑3 schedule.

Salary and Benefits Actual compensation will depend on education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is $35.33 – $51.83 per hour. Full‑time employees are eligible for a company bonus and a comprehensive benefit program including 401(k), pension, vacation, medical, dental, vision, prescription drug, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, leave of absence, employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs.
