We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a

Survey Project Coordinator II . A Survey Project Coordinator II performs administrative and technical services for surveying projects by supporting Project Managers and staff with project administration, scheduling, financial processing, and technical administration.

Duties & Responsibilities

Provides administrative and technical support for surveying projects.

Supports Project Managers and staff with project administration, scheduling, financial processing, and technical administration.

Assists with monitoring projects to ensure cost, timeframes, and the work performance meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Assists with monitoring and ordering work supplies and schedules vehicle and equipment maintenance.

Maintains inventory of all field equipment and vehicles on a weekly basis.

Assists with compiling internal documentation and the inspection of deliverables for accuracy and correctness.

Provides permit modifications requests, 811 tickets, records requests, MOT, and start work notice supports.

Performs additional administrative and technical duties as assigned.

Education Requirements

Associate degree in Land Surveying, Civil Engineering or equivalent is required.

Surveyor-in-Training, Certified Surveying Technician, or related certifications are preferred.

Required & Preferred Experience

Requires 3 years’ experience in project coordination in the surveying, engineering and/or construction industries.

Requires basic understanding of technical specifications related to project deliverables.

Requires experience with BlueBeam Revu or comparable Geomatics software such as ArcGIS, Google Earth, Survey123, etc.

Requires basic knowledge of GIS systems, data reliability, and support of company resources related to GIS technology.

Requires excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

Requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The ability to balance multiple work assignments at the same time is required.

The ability to work alone but also effectively as part of a team is required.

Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle and criminal record as determined by McKim & Creed.

Candidates are required to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
